As the Founder of RyeCentral.com, Kevin set out to build the rye whiskey resource he wished existed when he first started exploring the category — one that treats every reader like a friend at the bar, not a number on a dashboard. He shapes the editorial direction, designs the user experience, and oversees how reviews, guides, and tools come together so visitors can find their next favorite rye with confidence.
RyeCentral is the natural extension of two things Kevin has spent his life caring about: building thoughtful digital experiences and sharing a great pour with people he loves.
A Career Built on Precision & User Experience
Kevin's path into rye runs through three decades of building businesses. In 1998 he founded a Technology Value Added Reseller (VAR) in the UK, and in the years since he has been involved in the development of companies ranging from professional services to retail. Along the way he has designed and built user-focused CRM systems and apps, and produced green-screen video content for the technology sector — work that taught him the difference a polished, accurate experience makes for the people on the other side of the screen.
That same instinct — sweat the details, respect the user's time, never ship something you wouldn't be proud to put your name on — is what shapes RyeCentral today.
Beyond the Desk
Kevin lives in Florida with his beautiful wife Jessica in a home built around hospitality, good food, and good company. He has a deep love for friends and family, and considers his volunteer work — helping others learn more about the Bible's hope and message — one of the most meaningful parts of his life.
When he's not building or writing, you'll find him in the gym with weights, on the golf course, or doing just about anything on or under the water. He and Jessica share a love of fine food and fine wine, and Kevin especially enjoys hosting whiskey tasting evenings where friends can compare pours, swap stories, and discover something new together — moderation always over excess, conversation always over the clock.
