Additional Notes: WhistlePig 10 Year is a really enjoyable rye, even for someone fairly new to whiskey. I picked up some caramel, vanilla, and a nice spicy kick. It’s definitely bolder than some other ryes I’ve tried, with a warming finish that lingers. A little strong at first, but the flavors really grow on you. A great whiskey worth trying!

Additional Notes: Sazerac Rye is a fantastic, approachable whiskey with a lovely balance of vanilla, caramel, citrus, and warm rye spice. Smooth on the palate with a pleasant peppery finish. Great for sipping neat, but really shines in cocktails. A solid rye that punches above its price point!

WhistlePig PiggyBack Rye immediately gave me that classic rye hit of pepper, cinnamon, and fresh herbs, but there was also enough caramel and vanilla sweetness to keep it balanced. On the palate, I picked up orange peel, baking spice, and a slightly dry oakiness that carried into a warm, spicy finish. I enjoyed it neat, but I think its bold character would really shine in a Manhattan or Old Fashioned.
