The palate also smooths out with less high notes to a more even experience from end to end. The main change are delicate floral (nearly 'perfumey') elements that bloom on the palate.
This Rye is a solid 4.3 regular drinker and a great product for someone just getting into Rye. Still it brings forth some of the complexity that a more seasoned Rye enthusiast would enjoy as well.
This for me is a great sipping rye. I really get honey and sweet notes on the nose and spice black pepper on the palate. I tired the suggestion in the review on here to add a splash of water and it’s true it does open up the floral notes a lot.
Wouldn’t want to really mix this with anything else it works just great on its own imo.
